What were the most influential books of 1989, and why?
I’m doing a project in a European History course in which I have to write books reviews for the best/most important books of the year 1989, and I’m writing from the perspective of a German newspaper. If anyone could provide with me with a Top 10 or Top 5 list of books from this time period, particularly those that were impactful on German society, and (if possible) give me a brief explanation as to why, I would much appreciate it.
